MechWarrior 5: Clans

MechWarrior 5: Clans launched on October 16, 2024 and has received a sustained run of paid expansions. The free Trials of War DLC arrived November 25, 2024, followed by the Ghost Bear: Flash Storm story expansion on May 7, 2025, and the Wolves of Tukayyid story expansion on December 4, 2025. This established a clear pattern of major story DLC releasing roughly every 6–7 months. On February 10, 2026, Piranha Games posted a patch note update and explicitly stated: "the team is already hard at work on the next MW5 Mercs and Clans DLCs. More details on the MW5 Mercs DLC 8 will be coming at the end of March." This confirmed that another MW5: Clans DLC was in development.
