Evaluation
Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 2 launched on April 13, 2023 as a complete package containing six classic games — both versions of Battle Network 4, 5, and 6 — along with a gallery, music, and online play. One paid DLC, the Custom PET Pack Vol. 2 cosmetic content, was released on June 27, 2023, and is the only DLC listed for the game. No additional DLC has been announced or listed as unreleased.
The developer news channel associated with this Steam page includes posts about other Capcom Mega Man titles — notably an announcement in December 2025 for Mega Man: Dual Override, a new mainline entry targeting 2027, and a promotion for MEGA MAN X DiVE Offline. These are separate products advertised through Capcom's shared news feed and carry no implications for this collection's content. Post-launch updates for Vol. 2 itself have been limited to bug fixes and minor quality-of-life improvements (such as a July 2023 patch adding voice language options and fixing online battle issues).
With all DLC shipped, no outstanding content commitments, and no developer communications indicating further updates are planned for this collection, the game is complete as of the Custom PET Pack Vol. 2 release.
Evidence
