Melody launched on December 18, 2020 as a rhythm game and received a handful of post-launch content updates. A free music pack with 5 new songs was added in February 2021, a hard difficulty mode arrived as a free update in April 2021, a custom key-mapping feature was added in August 2021, and a Chinese-style music pack with 5 songs followed in January 2022. In November 2022, the developer posted to promote their next game (Blind), and on January 18, 2023 they announced a free crossover update adding a song from Blind into Melody. That January 2023 post is the last recorded developer communication about the game. The game's update history shows three major content drops, all delivered between February 2021 and January 2022, roughly every 3–6 months. After the January 2023 crossover post, there have been no further announcements, updates, or developer communications — a silence stretching to June 2026, well beyond any reasonable continuation of the earlier cadence. The developer's focus appears to have shifted to Blind and its DLC (mentioned in the January 2023 post). The store description contains no language about ongoing content or future plans. All DLC entries are released, and no unreleased content is listed on the store. The game appears to have reached the end of its content lifecycle following the January 2023 free song update.
