Evaluation
Memory's Dogma CODE:01 is a sci-fi visual novel that launched on November 4, 2016. The original game's story ended on an incomplete note, and the developer (Takahashi Wataru) acknowledged this directly when releasing the follow-up content.
The story has since been completed through a series of five light novels released as Steam DLC. The first two — CODE:01 and CODE:02 Light Novels — arrived on October 31, 2025, making previously Kickstarter-exclusive content available to all players. The final three — CODE:03, CODE:04, and CODE:05 Light Novels — followed on November 22, 2025.
On that same date, the developer explicitly stated that "the story is now complete," confirming that the November 22, 2025 release represents the full conclusion of the Memory's Dogma narrative. All six DLC items in the store listing are marked as released, and no further content has been announced since.
Evidence
Developer Takahashi Wataru explicitly stated 'the story is now complete' with the release of the final three light novels, acknowledging the original game's ending was incomplete without this continuation.
CODE:03, CODE:04, and CODE:05 light novels released on Steam, completing the Memory's Dogma story arc.
