Midnight Castle Succubus DX launched on September 18, 2020 and received a handful of post-launch patches in its first six weeks — bug fixes in the days immediately after launch and a quality-of-life update on November 2, 2020 that added autosave and expanded language support. That November 2, 2020 update is the last recorded developer communication for this game. The sole DLC, a soundtrack pack, released on October 30, 2020 and is the only DLC ever listed. No additional DLC, expansions, or future content has been announced for this title. The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained package. The November 2020 post mentioned the developers were shifting focus toward other projects (Castle in the Clouds, Tower and Sword of Succubus), consistent with this game being finished. With no unreleased content, no announced roadmap, and developer activity having concluded in November 2020, this game launched and was supported briefly before reaching its complete final state.

* Main Weapons
- Leather Whip: Short-range and deals less damage. You have this by default.
- Thorn Whip: Long and twice as strong as Lether Whip.
- Chain Whip: Twice as strong as Thorn Whip.
- Flame Whip: Twice as strong as Chain Whip. Effective against ice.
- Ice Whip: Twice as strong as Chain Whip. Effective against flame.
- Magic Whip: Twice as strong as Flame Whip. Throws a magic ball.
* Sub Weapons
- Scythe: Goes in a ballistic trajectory and penetrates through enemies.
- Boomerang: Goes to the corner of the screen and returns.
- Bomb: Stays still for a moment and deals damage to enemies.
- Clock: Stops enemies' movements for seconds.
- Cross: Aims and chases after a nearby enemy.
