Evaluation
The Vagrant launched in Early Access in June 2017 and reached its full 1.0 release on July 13, 2018, completing all six chapters of story content. The game's development arc is well-documented: the developer shipped chapters progressively during Early Access (Chapter 3 in August 2017, Chapter 4 in November 2017, Chapter 5 in February 2018), with a December 2017 post confirming that chapters 5 and 6 would be completed. The full release in July 2018 represented the finished package.
The two available DLC items — an artbook (June 2018) and a cosplay album (September 2018) — are both released and are supplementary collectibles rather than game content expansions.
By November 2019, the developer's last update for the game was a Russian localization bug fix, and that post itself pointed players toward "our next game," signaling that The Vagrant's development had concluded. Subsequent news posts (from 2021) are entirely focused on the studio's other projects — Mirror 2: Project X and Detained: Too Good for School — with no mention of any further content planned for The Vagrant. The developer has been silent on The Vagrant specifically since November 25, 2019.
The game shipped as a complete narrative experience with all story chapters, multiple endings, and full localization. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content, and no post-launch content cadence suggesting more was ever planned beyond the original scope.
Evidence
Final update for The Vagrant — a Russian localization fix. The post directs players to follow development of 'our next game,' indicating the developer had moved on.
Chapter 5 released; developer noted only one chapter remaining before the full game would be complete
