Might & Magic® Heroes® VII

Might & Magic Heroes VII launched on September 29, 2015. Following launch, Limbic Entertainment released a series of patches addressing bugs, performance, and multiplayer stability (patches 1.2 through 1.6) between October and December 2015. On February 18, 2016, the final major content drop arrived: The Lost Tales of Axeoth: Unity, a free campaign expansion featuring 5 maps written by Terry B. Ray. This shipped alongside Patch 1.7, which also removed the hero level cap for Skirmish maps and made various other improvements. There have been no developer communications, patches, or content releases for Heroes VII since February 18, 2016 — nearly a decade of silence. The two news posts from 2025 and 2026 relate exclusively to a separate new title, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, and make no reference to continued development of Heroes VII. The game appears to have concluded its post-launch support cycle with the February 2016 update and has since been a finished, static product.
