MindSeize launched on February 7, 2020 with several features still missing, and the developer immediately began shipping post-launch updates to complete the game. On May 19, 2020, the developer published an explicit statement declaring the game "ready and final" following the release of Boss Mode in version 1.2.0, noting that all planned features had been delivered. They indicated only smaller updates and bug fixes would follow — and that's exactly what happened. Subsequent patches (v1.4.5 in March 2021, v1.5.0 in September 2021, and v1.5.1 in January 2022) were refinements: boss balance tweaks, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes. The last developer communication was on January 24, 2022. Both DLC items (the soundtrack and digital artbook) shipped on March 18, 2020. No new content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists, and the developer explicitly declared the game complete. The January 24, 2022 patch is the last recorded update, and the note closing that post — "the work continues, even if slower" — referred to general maintenance, consistent with their earlier "final" declaration.
