Mini Battlegrounds launched on Steam on August 20, 2018, transitioning from a paid early access model to free-to-play at that time. The developer's last substantive communication was on August 23, 2018 — a brief post welcoming new players after the free-to-play switch. Before that, several features were teased in 2018, including a PVE zombie mode (announced May 4, 2018) and a team PVP mode (announced March 29, 2018), but neither was ever confirmed as shipped, and the developer went completely silent after August 23, 2018. No developer posts, patch notes, or announcements have appeared since that date — now nearly eight years ago. There are no unreleased DLC listings and no roadmap commitments still outstanding with any credible expectation of fulfillment.
