Evaluation

Mini Murder Mysteries launched on June 23, 2026 with nine self-contained mystery cases. Developer BUNKWORKS was active immediately after launch, pushing several bug-fix and quality-of-life patches within the first days. The June 26, 2026 update post (v1.1) included a "roadmap" section explicitly listing "Bonus case(s)" as planned content — meaning the developer has communicated intent to add more mystery cases beyond the nine shipped at launch. The July 8, 2026 update (v1.2) delivered several of the other roadmap items from that list (case briefing button, revisiting solved case evidence), showing the developer is actively working through their stated plans. The bonus case(s) item has not yet been marked as delivered in any subsequent post, so it remains an outstanding commitment. The game is actively maintained and the developer has been communicative since launch.

About this game

Mini Murder Mysteries is a cozy investigative deduction game made for fans of head-scratching whodunits.

Become a detective and get to work solving nine distinct, self-contained crime scene conundrums. To progress, you'll need to scour the evidence, analyze witness statements, collect relevant keywords, and make smart deductions.

Solve a series of twisty, tricksy murder mysteries.

Examine evidence, read witness statements, and collect deduction words that you'll use to solve each case.

The cases in Mini Murder Mysteries pay homage to (and build upon) tropes from across detective fiction – from dusty old manors to Ancient Egyptian museum exhibits, and from restaurant kitchens to cutting edge biochemical labs.

Leave no stone unturned as you gather clues and discover truths.

Cross-reference information. Piece things together. Use lateral thinking.

Each case's murder board is chock-full of evidence – from incriminating correspondence and fingerprint reports, to burner phones and distracting red herrings. Read about each object, collect special 'Deduction Words' as you go, and build an ironclad picture in your mind of what really happened.

Witness or suspect? Every case offers "useful" input from people closest to the victim.

Along the way you'll encounter power-mad movers and shakers, innocent bystanders, gamblers, spies, liars and lotharios. And, who knows, maybe even a lifelong nemesis?

It's up to you to work out who's telling the truth – and use your intuition to see through the lies.

Sort the coincidental from the crucial to make smart deductions.

Each of Mini Murder Mysteries' nine unique cases revolves around 24 'Deduction Words' that you'll use to assert whodunit. The problem? You'll only need a handful of those words to make the correct conclusion.

That means you'll need to get good at sifting through events, statements and information to weed out what's irrelevant and what's key to each case.

Close your case list and you might even unravel a deeper, interconnected mystery...
