On January 30, 2025, BetaDwarf posted an official announcement revealing their new game, Vaultbreakers, and explicitly stated: "while we are not adding new content to [Minion Masters], we are working with key community members to release frequent balance updates and support community tournaments." This is a direct developer statement that new content development has ended. The game had previously operated on a seasonal content model, shipping DLC packs and season passes at a regular cadence from 2019 through July 2024. The last content DLC released was "Power UP" on July 25, 2024 (DLC-8). The January 30, 2025 statement confirmed that no further content additions are planned, with the studio's focus shifted to Vaultbreakers. All 22 DLC packs listed on the store are marked as released. The most recent developer communications have been balance patches — maintenance updates that tune card statistics without adding new content. This aligns with BetaDwarf's stated intention to continue balance updates and community support without new content. The season pass model the game previously used has been discontinued alongside new content development. The game is now in a maintenance-only state: fully playable and being kept balanced by the developer in collaboration with community members, but no longer expanding with new cards, masters, or seasons.
