Minnano Gensokyo Single

Minnano Gensokyo Single is a card battle and character-building game set in the Touhou universe, currently available in Early Access. The developer maintained a steady stream of updates after launch on December 31, 2021 — roughly monthly feature patches through July 10, 2022 — adding new characters, reworking core gameplay systems, and fixing bugs. However, the last communication from the developer was on July 10, 2022, and nothing has been posted since. That breaks nearly four years of silence as of June 2026, which is a significant departure from the active monthly cadence the developer had previously maintained. The store description still lists Steam Workshop as a planned but unimplemented feature, explicitly saying it will be added "once the game version is stable." A February 2022 update post also outlined several planned additions — random patrol events, a relic system, and rest/shop mechanics — that were never followed up on. These commitments remain publicly visible with no word on whether they are still being worked on. The game remains purchasable and is still marked as Early Access, meaning it has not officially completed development. But with years of silence and undelivered promises still on the store page, there is meaningful uncertainty about whether development is continuing.
