Mobile Astro

Mobile Astro launched on December 15, 2016 as a compact arcade twin-stick shooter with ten stages, five boss battles, and a handful of game modes. The developer moved quickly after launch, shipping a substantial free content update on February 11, 2017 (version 1.2) that added Arcade EX Mode with eight new stages and four boss battles, Boss Rush Mode, trading cards, and a Korean translation. Achievements followed a week later in version 1.3. A leaderboard integrity patch was released in February 2018. The EX Pack DLC released on October 15, 2018, adding additional content including Boss Rush mode enhancements. The developer followed up on May 25, 2020 with a beta patch (EX Pack Beta 1.7) tuning the Boss Rush difficulty — the most recent post on record. Since May 25, 2020, there have been no developer communications of any kind. No future content has been announced, no roadmap exists, and the store description presents the game as a fixed feature set. The EX Pack is the only DLC and it has been fully released. With more than six years of silence and no outstanding commitments, the game appears to have reached its final state. The last substantive development activity was the May 2020 balance patch for the EX Pack.
