Monarchy launched on November 6, 2024. Three days after release, on November 9, 2024, the developer shipped a small feature patch adding a new map and fixing several bugs. That is the last update the game has received.
On June 1, 2026, Brain Seal announced their next game — Dominus Gladiatus, a gladiator management simulator. Notably, the announcement thanks players for supporting "Dark Quest 4" (appearing to be a copy-paste error referencing another Brain Seal title), which suggests the studio has moved its attention to this new project. There have been no further patches, content announcements, or developer communications about Monarchy since November 9, 2024.
