Monmusu Gladiator

Monmusu Gladiator launched on July 14, 2021 and has received a consistent stream of content from ZephyrStudio ever since. Three major content updates have shipped post-launch: a large expansion (ver1.2.0) on April 15, 2022 adding new Breeder Pack content, inheritance systems, and new difficulty levels; a major collaboration update on September 21, 2023 featuring cards from over 10 indie game titles; and another collaboration update on February 17, 2025 adding cards from "Yuri Sword Saga." This establishes a sustained pattern of substantial updates roughly every 12–18 months. A feature patch followed on May 16, 2025 adding updated card artwork and Thai/Spanish language support, and that post also mentioned "there might be another wonderful announcement in the near future." As of today (October 1, 2026), the last major content release was February 17, 2025 — approximately 19 months ago. The established interval between major releases has ranged from roughly 12 to 18 months, so we are just at or slightly past the outer edge of that window. However, the developer has made no statement that development is complete, and the May 2025 hint of a future announcement has not been followed by either a delivery or a retraction. The developer's last communication was May 16, 2025 — approximately 16 months ago — which is approaching, but has not definitively crossed, a silence threshold given the historically long gaps between updates on this title. The developer has not announced the end of development, and the established pattern of sporadic but recurring major updates means the current silence is not yet out of character.
