Monster Battles

Monster Battles launched on May 15, 2025 and has been receiving consistent post-launch updates. The developer has shipped multiple major content updates: the "Mechanical Revolution" (July 18, 2025), a new Adventure Mode chapter (September 8, 2025), the "All Things Have a Spirit" major version update introducing a new Yokai race and Ancient Monsters system (January 19, 2026), and another major content drop on February 10, 2026 adding eight new Ancient Monsters. Alongside these, a steady stream of feature patches has landed through February 27, 2026 — the most recent developer communication on record. This establishes a sustained update cadence of roughly 2–4 months between major releases. As of today (September 24, 2026), it has been approximately 7 months since the last developer communication on February 27, 2026. This is beyond the established cadence window, which raises a mild concern, but the developer has not announced the conclusion of content development. The gap is notable but not dramatically out of pattern for an indie team, and no distress signals have been published. Four DLC packs have also shipped: a Summertime Collection (May 16, 2025) and three skin packs (September 10, 2025), all released. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store.
