MotoGP™20 launched on April 23, 2020 as an annual sports title representing the 2020 MotoGP season. A single DLC — the Historic Pack — was released on launch day. Post-launch, Milestone delivered a series of patches and updates through the remainder of 2020: a models and liveries update on May 15, 2020; an eSport event update on June 16, 2020; and a final rider skills update on December 28, 2020 based on the completed 2020 championship season. That December 2020 patch was the last substantive update to the game. By February 2021, Milestone had shifted focus entirely to MotoGP™21, announcing its successor with a release date of April 22, 2021. No further content, patches, or announcements for MotoGP™20 have appeared since. As is standard for annual licensed sports titles, MotoGP™20 was a complete, season-specific package that reached the end of its content cycle once the 2020 season concluded and its successor launched.
