Evaluation
Music Killer launched on October 31, 2019 and received a burst of feature patches in the weeks immediately following launch, addressing gameplay balance, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. The last meaningful developer communication was a January 29, 2020 announcement stating that the team was working on a major VR update and that VR mode would become the primary mode of the game. No VR update has ever shipped, and there have been no developer posts of any kind since that date — over six years of silence as of mid-2026. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no follow-up communications. The promised VR update was never delivered and the developer has made no further contact, indicating the project was effectively abandoned. The game shipped as a functional product and the January 2020 announcement represents the last known developer activity.
Evidence
Developer announced a major VR update, stating that VR mode would become the primary mode while FPS mode would remain available. This is the last official communication from the developer.
Winter Sale 2019 update added seasonal content including snow, Christmas cosmetics, and a new enemy type.

About this game
Music Killer is the music adapting first-person shooter game where the mood of the level, enemy speed, and gameplay experience depend on the music you choose. Try to survive all the waves during the music length as long as you can, shoot enemies to a rhythm of the song. Play with your steam friends online against the endless waves of neon demons. Combining these two completely different genres we could achieve one of the most addicting and fun games to play.
