My Name is Mayo launched on February 15, 2016 as a self-contained clicker game featuring 50 achievements and 4 stories. The store description describes a fully defined, finite experience with no mention of planned expansions or ongoing content. Post-launch, the developer added small cosmetic touches — a Halloween skeleton hand in October 2016, a crossover finger from their game Mr. Massagy in December 2016, and a mini-game tied to their Birdcakes launch in May 2018 — but these were minor novelties, not major content expansions. Green Lava Studios went on to release standalone sequels: My Name is Mayo 2 in November 2020 and My Name is Mayo 3 in May 2022. The May 2022 post for Mayo 3 explicitly described it as "the end of an era" and "the end of the trilogy," signaling that the studio considers the franchise concluded. There have been no developer communications about this original game since 2022, and no DLC, roadmap, or future content has ever been announced for it.
