Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics launched on September 12, 2016 as a complete, standalone roguelike RPG — an enhanced remake of the indie title One Way Heroics. Following launch, Spike Chunsoft issued a series of bug-fix and polish patches through December 12, 2016, addressing crashes, translation quality, and minor feature additions like controller prompts and a quit menu option. The final patch (Ver.1.00.04, December 12, 2016) resolved the last known outstanding issues, including a broken achievement unlock. No DLC has ever been listed for the game, no post-launch content was announced, and there have been no developer communications of any kind since December 2016. The game launched as a complete package and has received no post-launch content.
