Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons

The store description opens with an explicit declaration: "MDSOA is now 100% complete!" This is a direct developer statement confirming the game is finished. All 11 DLC items — covering five character routes, their epilogues, Hikaru's two-book route, and a Deluxe Edition — have been released. The final piece of content was the Deluxe Edition, which shipped on February 6, 2018, and included an upgraded Shou route with new CGs and endings. No DLC remains unreleased. The developer has since moved on to other projects. In October 2019, they announced a spin-off sequel called Mystic Destinies: Echoes, being developed on Itch.io, with a Steam release described as uncertain. In May 2025, the developer ran a Kickstarter campaign for a new project, Mystic Destinies: Rebirth – Gales of Hikaru, which is described as a separate game rather than additional content for this title. None of these activities represent planned additions to Serendipity of Aeons itself. This game launched with a clear episodic content plan and fulfilled it completely. Anyone waiting for all content to be released before playing can consider the game fully done as of February 6, 2018.
