Myth of Mist: Legacy launched on January 27, 2022 and received consistent updates through its post-launch period. The developer published a clear end-of-development statement on December 17, 2022, writing: "Now, the development of the whole game will come to an end for now" and describing the Winter Update as their "last big update." This was framed as a farewell to players who supported the game through its journey from Early Access to full release.
Despite that statement, the developer followed up with one more significant release: the Spring Patch on March 13, 2023, which overhauled all character, enemy, and monster portraits across the game — work described as having taken "more than half a year to produce" and framed as a kept promise to longtime supporters.
After that Spring 2023 update, subsequent posts consist of a feature patch in July 2023 (Steam Deck support) and a quest/story system patch in September 2023. The last developer communication of any kind was on September 4, 2023. There have been no news posts, patches, or announcements since that date.
All three DLC items are released and were available at or before launch. The store description contains no mention of future content, season passes, or ongoing live service features. Summary
"Myth of Mist: Legacy" is an epic fantasy game designed for CRPG and SLG lovers. You will play as an anonymous traveler in the City of Time and Eternity who going between different faction and heroes.
Apart from uncovering the mystery behind the entire world, you have to find the way to defeat the King of Mist and its monster army before the disaster of the Mist of Doomsday comes.
Will you push forward with your comrades, or fight alone? It's all up to you.
