Evaluation
Nanotale - Typing Chronicles launched into Early Access and formally released its 1.0 version on March 31, 2021, adding a new biome, cinematics, voice-overs, and achievements. Following the 1.0 launch, the developer shipped one more major free update on July 26, 2021, adding an Arena mode along with Mac and Linux support.
On January 22, 2023, the developer explicitly stated in their patch notes: "Today we release what we hope will be the last update on Nanotale." This is a direct developer statement signaling the conclusion of development. A final MacOS version of the same patch followed on January 29, 2023. No further updates or announcements have been made since that date.
The only DLC listed is the original soundtrack, which released on April 2, 2021 — there are no unreleased DLC entries. The developer's November 2021 post announcing their next game, Outshine, further supports the studio's shift away from Nanotale. The game is a complete, finished product.
Evidence
