Evaluation
Nemesis Perspective launched on December 21, 2016 as a local multiplayer VR game. In April 2017, the developer announced plans for two new content packs for the game — but that same post was later edited to note that the studio had been selected for the Nordic VR Startups program and had pivoted to developing a brand new game instead, cancelling the planned Nemesis Perspective content packs.
The developer's August 24, 2017 status update linked to a post titled "The Last Nemesis Perspective Patch," explicitly signalling that further development on this game was ending. That same month, they added Oculus Rift support and mentioned being busy with a new project.
On January 17, 2018, the developer made Nemesis Perspective free-to-play as a promotional move ahead of launching their sequel, Nemesis Realms, on Steam Early Access. This transition — making the original game free while shifting all active development to the sequel — marks the clear conclusion of Nemesis Perspective's content lifecycle. The last developer communication of any kind was in March 2018, promoting Nemesis Realms content, not anything new for Nemesis Perspective. No further content has been announced or released for this game since January 2018.
Evidence
Nemesis Perspective made free-to-play ahead of the sequel Nemesis Realms launching on Early Access, framing the original as a demo/entry point rather than an actively developed product.
Developer status update linking to a blog post explicitly titled 'The Last Nemesis Perspective Patch,' signalling the end of content development for this game.
