Reiko's Fragments launched into Early Access on October 28, 2019. The developer, Pixel Canvas Inc., was reasonably active through mid-2021, shipping a second map (The Shrine) in December 2019, adding PC (non-VR) support in October 2020, and releasing several feature patches and bug fixes over that period. In February 2021, a patch post stated the team planned to release additional traps and possibly new ghosts during the latter half of 2021. However, the last recorded developer communication was a bug fix patch on June 4, 2021. Since then — a span of nearly five years to today's date of June 25, 2026 — there have been no updates, announcements, or developer statements of any kind. The promised 2021 content was never confirmed as delivered, the game remains in Early Access with no 1.0 launch or completion announcement, and there has been no explanation for the prolonged silence. This strongly suggests development has stalled or been abandoned, though no formal closure statement has been made.

Escape the haunted house by searching for spiritual items, but beware of traps and making too much noise— the ghost is always listening and any sound you make could be your last. A hair-raising experience that is best enjoyed with a group of friends.
