Evaluation
NEOVERSE launched out of Early Access on February 18, 2020, after about a year of Early Access development. At launch, the developer posted that this version was "the beginning, not the end" and promised continued improvements — and they delivered on that through 2020 and into 2021.
Post-launch, the game received a steady stream of major updates through 2020: v1.2 on June 25, 2020 (new equipment and a Cyberpunk DLC), v1.3 on August 3, 2020 (Challenge Mode and the Hot Break DLC), v1.4 on October 21, 2020 (more new equipment and the Schoolgirl DLC), and v1.5 on December 22, 2020 (new language support and animations). The final DLC — the Super Hero Pack — was released on October 21, 2021.
All four DLC packs listed on the store have been released, with the last one shipping on October 21, 2021. There have been no developer communications, announcements, or updates of any kind since 2021, and no additional content has been announced. The developer has not explicitly declared the game complete, but the pattern is clear: content activity wound down through 2021 and has been entirely silent since. Given that the last developer activity was on October 21, 2021 — over four and a half years before today's date of June 26, 2026 — and no new content or announcements have emerged in that time, the game is complete. The last DLC release date serves as the most reliable marker for when the content was fully delivered.
