Phantom Rose

Phantom Rose launched on August 7, 2019 and received a busy post-launch update period through 2019 — multiple balance patches, the Halloween Update (October 3, 2019), and the Winter Update (December 1, 2019). The developer then shipped a major overhaul on October 1, 2021 called the "Scarlet" 2.0 update, which introduced an entirely new game mode, over 100 new cards, new skins, and additional story content — effectively a free expansion. That update represents the last major content addition to Phantom Rose. On October 30, 2023, the developer announced that Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire had launched on Steam, expressing gratitude to Phantom Rose players for making the sequel possible. No further content for the original Phantom Rose has been announced or released since the Scarlet update. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap commitments, and no developer statements suggesting additional content is planned. The developer's attention has clearly moved to the sequel. The Scarlet 2.0 update on October 1, 2021 is the most reasonable date to mark the game's content as complete.
