NGU INDUSTRIES launched into Early Access on April 5, 2021, developed by solo developer 4G as a free-to-play idle/factory game. In the weeks following launch, the developer was actively posting updates: a feature patch on April 17, 2021, a hotfix on April 18, and then a substantial content update (Build 0.5.0) on May 9, 2021 adding a new map, 27 buildings, farming upgrades, and more. A small follow-up hotfix arrived on May 11, 2021.
After May 11, 2021, all developer communication stopped entirely. There have been no patch notes, blog posts, roadmap updates, or any other official communication from 4G since that date. The game remains listed on Steam in Early Access with no stated 1.0 release target and no developer statement about whether development is continuing, paused, or abandoned. For a game explicitly sold as unfinished and actively receiving updates in its first weeks, the silence since May 11, 2021 raises serious concern about whether development is ongoing.
