Incubo launched on January 31, 2019 and received a short burst of post-launch patches through mid-February 2019, addressing bug fixes and difficulty adjustments. The last of these patches was a temporary rollback on February 15, 2019 to correct a regression introduced by a Unity engine update. No major content expansions or DLC were ever released, and no future content was announced for the PC version of the game. The most recent developer communication — a news post from August 14, 2024 — announced that Incubo was coming to mobile platforms (pre-registration on Google Play and TapTap) and teased a separate, unrelated visual novel project for Steam. Neither of these announcements indicates any new content planned for the existing PC version of Incubo. The game appears to have shipped as a complete, self-contained experience and received only maintenance-level updates in the weeks following launch before development activity ceased.
