Evaluation
Nightside launched out of Early Access on August 6, 2015, and received a free DLC called "The Noxx" on September 8, 2015, adding a fourth playable race and several gameplay features. That was the last piece of new content the game received.
On October 16, 2017, the developer posted an official statement explaining that they are no longer able to maintain the game with updates or multiplayer servers, and that the price had been dropped to reflect what the product currently offers. They expressed hope to create a sequel (Nightside 2) but made no commitments to further development of this game. This is a clear developer statement that active development has ended.
No unreleased DLC exists — the only DLC is the soundtrack, which shipped on October 12, 2015. The store description reflects the game's final feature set. The game remains purchasable and has reached a finished state with no further content planned.
