Ninja Stealth 3 launched on December 6, 2017 as a self-contained casual puzzle game with 30 levels. The most significant post-launch content event was on February 21, 2019, when the developer merged the game's previously separate paid DLCs directly into the base game, making all content freely available to all owners. This effectively marked the completion of the game's content — everything that was ever sold separately is now included in the base package. Since then, the developer has posted only maintenance updates: a framework overhaul in late 2018, a checkpoint system patch in early 2019, a bug fix in August 2020, and a minor maintenance patch in April 2024.
