No Strings Attached is a student-made free-to-play puzzle platformer from the University of Utah. The game spent a brief period in Early Access before officially launching as a complete 1.0 release on May 2, 2024. The launch post from that date explicitly celebrated delivering "the game in its entirety," and the preceding announcement on April 29, 2024 described the May 2nd release as "the full game." All developer activity prior to that date was focused on polishing and preparing for this launch — adding sound, fixing bugs, and completing the final level. There have been no developer communications after the launch day post, no DLC listed, no roadmap, and no indication of planned future content. This is consistent with a student project that was completed and shipped as a finished product. The game launched complete on May 2, 2024.
