No Way Out released on October 4, 2018 and received a handful of updates in 2017 during its pre-release phase. The most significant post-launch event was the December 18, 2024 "No Way Out: The Rebirth" major update, which overhauled the game and invited player feedback to help shape future mechanics. That forward-looking language in the December 2024 post was the basis of the previous assessment's active development conclusion. However, as of today (October 8, 2026), the last developer communication of any kind remains that December 18, 2024 post — now nearly 22 months ago. The developer's historical update cadence has been extremely sparse: meaningful updates occurred in early-to-mid 2017, then nothing substantial until December 2024 — a gap of over seven years. With no further posts, no announced content, no unreleased DLC, and no roadmap, there is no concrete evidence of planned or ongoing content beyond what shipped in December 2024. The December 2024 update appears to have been the conclusion of the "Rebirth" rework. The invitation for player feedback was a community engagement gesture common to major updates, but the developer has not followed it with any roadmap, announcement, or subsequent update in the nearly two years since.
