Nodes Escape launched on July 14, 2023 as a word puzzle / escape room game. Shortly after launch, on July 19, 2023, the developer posted about a Windows Defender false-positive issue and mentioned plans to continue adding levels and a Steam Workshop feature. On August 28, 2023, the developer followed through and shipped the Steam Workshop integration, which added a level editor and community content creation tools. This appears to be the game's last meaningful update. There have been no developer news posts, patch notes, or announcements since August 28, 2023. The developer's July 2023 post mentioned an intent to "continue updating more interesting levels," but that promise was plausibly fulfilled by the August Workshop update, which fundamentally changed how levels are added — shifting content creation to the community rather than the developer. With only two substantive posts in the game's entire history, both from mid-2023, and no communication since, the game shows no ongoing development activity. It launched as a self-contained puzzle game and has received no developer-driven content since the Workshop launch.
