Evaluation
Nomads of Driftland is a free standalone expansion to Driftland: The Magic Revival, released on December 7, 2020. It shipped with one DLC — "Nomads: The Forgotten Passage," which adds 10 new scenarios and was also released on the same day (December 7, 2020). All listed DLC is released, and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store.
The developer news associated with this game's Steam page is almost entirely focused on a separate, upcoming title called First Dwarf — Star Drifters' next game set in the same Driftland universe. None of the news posts announce or hint at new content specifically for Nomads of Driftland. The February 15, 2024 post (NEWS-6) mentions Nomads of Driftland only to recommend it to players who have finished the base Driftland game, presenting it as an existing complete offering alongside its DLC. There is no roadmap, no announced future update, and no indication that new content for Nomads of Driftland is in development.
Star Drifters has clearly moved its development focus to First Dwarf. The game launched as a complete package on December 7, 2020, and all content — including its sole DLC — shipped on that same date. No further content has been announced or indicated since.
Evidence
The only DLC, 'Nomads: The Forgotten Passage,' was released on the same day as the game itself (December 7, 2020). No unreleased DLC entries exist.
Studio recap confirms Star Drifters' primary development focus is First Dwarf, a new action RPG set in the Driftland universe. No mention of ongoing development for Nomads of Driftland.

About this game
The promise to restore civilization to its former shape and return to the times of splendor overcame sadness. It filled the hearts of Driftland's inhabitants with new hope and energy. Determination for action diverted attention from the numerous conflicts between quarrelsome mage-rulers and various injuries sustained by those who did not give in to their will.
Outlaw rebels, by the mage-rulers called Nomads, are exterminated and treated as barbarians. They believe that the new order is an attempt to restore balance in shape that has once destroyed the planet.
Now, the Nomads must fight to defend their values and survive.
Base game - Driftland: The Magic Revival is a unique fusion of RTS, 4X strategy, and Sim genres in a fantasy world made up of the shattered planet. The player takes on the role of a powerful mage-ruler capable of moving and reshaping parts of the planet. Both game mechanics and history are based on an innovative concept of dynamic topography and issuing orders to individuals with free will.
Nomads do not have a ruler and do not carry out orders like other races in the base game. Units are managed directly, like in classic RTS games. New unit types/classes affect strategy on the battlefield.

About the game
Nomads of Driftland is an RTS game initially created as an add-on to Driftland: The Magic Revival. Since it is significantly different from the base game, we decided to release it as a standalone expansion and make it available for free.Base game - Driftland: The Magic Revival is a unique fusion of RTS, 4X strategy, and Sim genres in a fantasy world made up of the shattered planet.
