Evaluation

Nothing Together launched on February 2, 2024 as a free-to-play multiplayer game. In the weeks following launch, VacuumDev was very active, shipping a series of patches and cosmetic DLC (visual themes) throughout February and into early March 2024. All eight DLC items — cosmetic visual themes — were released between February 12 and March 8, 2024, with no unreleased DLC remaining on the store. After that initial burst of activity, post-launch updates have been sparse and maintenance-focused. Patch 2.1 (June 5, 2024) adjusted Battle Royale player requirements and improved anti-cheat. Patch 2.3 (August 25, 2024) smoothed out the framerate and fixed a PC standby issue. Patch 2.4 (March 4, 2026) fixed a leaderboard bug and improved localization. Patch 2.5 (March 21, 2026) improved Russian localization. None of these post-launch updates introduced major new content — they are maintenance and quality-of-life improvements. There are no unreleased DLC items, no developer announcements of upcoming content, and no roadmap. The developer has never indicated that additional content is planned. The game appears to have launched as a deliberately minimal, humorous concept — doing nothing — and the content scope reflects that. The cosmetic DLC catalogue was completed by March 8, 2024, and subsequent patches have only maintained the existing experience. This is a game that shipped complete and has been lightly maintained since.
