Novastella Island is no longer available for purchase on Steam. The game launched on January 16, 2023 in Early Access, but on March 9, 2023, Nova Studio posted a bankruptcy notice explaining that the studio had gone bankrupt following a serious incident in September 2022. In that notice, the developer explicitly stated that both Novastella Island and DancingSim would be removed from the Steam Store within four weeks of the announcement. That removal has taken place — the game currently has no purchase options available. The studio also disclosed it cannot continue development of Novastella Island, and the game remains in its incomplete Early Access state with no prospect of further updates. Development effectively ended with the studio's bankruptcy.
Evidence
Nova Studio posted a bankruptcy notice stating the studio has gone bankrupt and can no longer continue development of Novastella Island. They announced the game would be removed from the Steam Store within 4 weeks of the post, and extended refund eligibility to all purchasers.
