Evaluation

Nubby's Number Factory launched on March 7, 2025 and has been in continuous active development ever since. The developer shipped a major update (V1.3, "The Everyman's Update") within weeks of launch on March 30, 2025, followed by a substantial feature patch (V1.3.1) in May 2025 and further bug-fix and feature patches through July 2025. The biggest update yet — V1.4, "The Big One" — landed on November 16, 2025, adding a full cosmetics system, unlockable skins, a new supervisor character, and a new Nubby Trials challenge mode. In 2026, the developer expanded to new platforms. Nubby Mobile launched on iOS and Android on April 16, 2026 in both a paid full version and a free lite version. Localization work has been extensive, with community volunteers contributing translations for 13 non-English languages as of a patch released July 1, 2026, with additional languages (Finnish, German, Icelandic, and others) still in progress. On July 5, 2026, the developer announced that console ports for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch are currently in production, with a release window of Q4 2026 to Q4 2027. The developer noted that this porting work has already been underway for about three months. This is the most recent developer communication and confirms the studio is actively engaged with the project. The developer has also stated in the April 2026 mobile launch post that after the console ports, a Mac port and potential Epic Games Store release are possibilities, though no concrete plans exist for DLC. Development shows no signs of concluding — the most recent developer post (July 5, 2026) describes ongoing work across multiple fronts.

About this game

Welcome aboard to Nubby's Number Factory! Your only job here is to make numbers, so you can make bigger numbers, so you can make even BIGGER numbers!

In this plinko-style roguelike, you'll launch your spherical friend, Nubby, down a pegboard to rack up increasingly large numbers. However, it's not all fun and games. You're still a low-ranking employee at this facility, which means that you need to meet your production quota. To make stakes even higher, your work at the number factory is directly responsible for keeping the fabric of space and time intact. One screw up could cause the sun to immediately explode.

Luckily, you can increase your output of numbers by harnessing the magical powers of over 50 unique items. You can use these items to create diverse and creative solutions to surpass your ever-expanding quotas. Feel that sweet surge of dopamine as the components of your factory synergize to make those numbers big!
