Oaken

Oaken launched into Early Access in May 2022 and received a steady stream of substantial updates throughout the Early Access period — adding new worlds, guides, spells, and gameplay systems. The game reached its 1.0 full release on July 20, 2023, bringing a new world (the Roots), a new guide, and expanded story content. A final post-launch update, "The Trials" (version 1.1.0), shipped on September 2, 2023, adding a level editor, trial challenges, and modding support via CurseForge. The 1.0 launch post mentioned that mods and new game modes were being considered, but that was a vague indication of possible future interest rather than a firm commitment — and the September 2023 update delivered exactly that (modding tools and a new mode). No further content updates, announcements, or roadmap posts have followed that September 2023 update. On May 1, 2026, Laki Studios announced their next game, Cloudsphere, explicitly describing it as a new project they have been building "for the past couple of years." This strongly indicates that the studio's development focus shifted away from Oaken well before this announcement, consistent with the absence of any Oaken content since September 2023. The only DLC on record is the Supporter Edition (an artbook/soundtrack bundle released in May 2022), with no unreleased DLC listed. There are no outstanding content commitments for Oaken.
