Office Life (职场浮生记) launched its full 1.0 release on December 17, 2024, after a period in Early Access. The launch itself was substantial — version 1.0.0 introduced an entire new romance storyline spanning all 10 in-game years, dozens of new story events, new character cards, achievements, and extensive quality-of-life improvements. After launch, the developer maintained a busy update pace through early 2025, shipping multiple patches that went beyond bug fixes. These added new characters and NPCs, new story content (including anniversary events for all major romance routes), new gameplay items (a fruit shop, pharmacy), new Workshop/mod creation tools with video tutorials, new locations, and new side quests. Updates were released roughly every one to four weeks from December 2024 through March 31, 2025. The most recent game update was on March 31, 2025. However, the developer posted again on July 8, 2026, announcing that their new game "造化仙緣" (a cultivation-themed RPG from the same studio) had launched in Early Access — and they promoted a bundle pairing it with Office Life. This confirms the studio is alive and active. They also announced a separate bundle with Chinese Football Simulator on March 19, 2026. The developer has not stated that Office Life development is complete or that no further updates are planned. No specific future content has been announced for Office Life, and there are no unreleased DLC listings. The game does not use a live service or seasonal monetization model.
