Old Coin Pusher Friends launched on October 7, 2021 and received several patches and feature updates in the weeks following release. The developer's news posts for this game focus almost entirely on those early patches and a security update in October 2025. Notably, the developer's post activity on this game's page has been used largely to announce sequels and new entries in the "Friends" series: Old Coin Pusher Friends 2 (May 2023), Old Coin Pusher Friends 3 (July 2024), and Ball Scooping Friends (May 2025) — all separate games. There is no DLC listed for this game, no roadmap or announcement of upcoming content for the base game, and no developer statement indicating future updates are planned. The original game appears to have shipped as a complete product and has received no major content additions since launch. The series has continued via standalone sequels rather than expansions to this title.
