Omega Pilot

Omega Pilot launched on September 2, 2022, with the developer explicitly stating they would "continue to do our best and update the game." They delivered on that promise through 2023, shipping meaningful updates including a new Endurance racing mode and multiple tracks (May 27, 2023), real-time cross-platform multiplayer (August 9, 2023), and additional weather-themed tracks (September 14, 2023). The store page continues to promise "constant content updates" and notes that more ship designs are coming. However, the developer's last communication about Omega Pilot was a bug fix post on March 20, 2024. Around the same time, XOCUS announced and launched a separate VR game called Rock and Roots (March 1, 2024) and began promoting a new racing title called EXOcars (April 15, 2024 and June 21, 2024). Since March 2024, all developer news has been about these other projects, with no updates, patches, or announcements for Omega Pilot. The store page still promises ongoing content and the developer has never stated that Omega Pilot development is complete or concluded — but over two years of silence since the last update, combined with the studio visibly pivoting to new projects, raises genuine uncertainty about whether further content for Omega Pilot is still being actively developed.
