Evaluation
ONE PUNCH MAN: A HERO NOBODY KNOWS launched on February 27, 2020 with a Character Pass and Pre-Order DLC Pack, both released on launch day. The only post-launch developer communications were a minor bug fix patch on March 20, 2020 and a notice posted on February 27, 2022 announcing the permanent shutdown of online lobby features — including online events, avatar ranked battles, and login bonuses — effective February 28, 2022. This shutdown notice is the last official word from the developer. All DLC has been released, no further content was ever announced, and the game has received no updates or communications since February 2022. The game launched as a complete product, and all online service components that were part of the live experience have since been discontinued.
Evidence
Store description now includes a prominent notice that online lobby functions ended on February 28, 2022, confirming the discontinuation of the game's online services.
Developer announced the permanent shutdown of online lobby functions effective February 28, 2022, ending online events, ranked battles, and login bonuses. Offline modes and online 1v1 remain available.
