One Thousand Lies is a free-to-play visual novel that launched on April 24, 2016 as a complete, self-contained story. The developer released a soundtrack DLC two days after launch (April 26, 2016) and added optional donation DLCs in November 2017, but none of these represent story content or expansions. All four DLC items are released with no unreleased items listed. The developer's own communications confirm this game is finished. A post from October 13, 2018 announced that the developer had moved on to their next project, Lotus Reverie, describing it as entering final stages of development after finishing One Thousand Lies. On January 15, 2021, the developer announced the release of Lotus Reverie on Steam, explicitly directing fans of this game to the new one. No updates, patches, or content additions for One Thousand Lies have been posted since the donation DLCs in November 2017. This game launched as a complete product and has received no story content updates since release. The developer has fully moved on to other projects.
