Onirism officially launched at version 1.0 on October 23, 2025 after a long period in Early Access. Since then, Crimson Tales has maintained a remarkably active post-launch update pace. Major content delivered after the 1.0 launch includes: the final story chapter with Corpotower and six Nightmare dimension areas (December 18, 2025), a follow-up holiday drop with four new Playground maps and five new weapons (December 25, 2025), a new Tales map called "Shore of the Damned" (March 20, 2026), a major side jobs system featuring the character Meng across five game areas (April 30, 2026), and most recently the "Summer Break: First Wave" event on July 3, 2026 — introducing a new sandbox resort area, eight summer mini-games and missions, nine new weapons, dozens of new outfits and accessories, and new haircuts. That July 2026 Summer Break post explicitly states the event is being "released in multiple parts" and that the first wave is live, with more waves to follow. A patch on July 8, 2026 shows the team is actively supporting the summer content. The developer also noted in April 2026 that Meng will be expanded to more areas in future updates. This establishes a consistent pattern of roughly one major content drop per one to two months since launch, with no signal from the developer that this is winding down. Quite the opposite — the developer has explicitly committed to additional summer event waves and further Meng expansion content.
