Orb of Creation

Orb of Creation launched its 1.0 release on June 23, 2026, after several years of development. On May 6, 2026, the developer announced the release date and explicitly described 1.0 as "a complete game" with "a start... and an end." The launch post on June 23, 2026 confirms the game is now available. The 1.0 release delivered everything the developer had been working toward: a full game with an ending, New Game+ with roguelite-style challenge and prestige systems, a randomized discovery system for spells, glyphs, artifacts, alchemy, and rituals, and overhauled mechanics for Druidry, Alchemy, and Rituals. The developer stated they had "taken all the Dev Time I've needed" — a clear signal that the game shipped as a finished, self-contained product. There is no announced post-launch DLC, no unreleased content in the store listing, and no developer communication indicating future content updates. The developer's note in the May 2026 announcement — "once the game is released, I will most certainly be parsing and implementing any feedback to continue to grow and polish the game" — describes the possibility of future polish and balance work in response to player feedback, but does not constitute a commitment to additional content. The only DLC on the store is a soundtrack released in March 2022. The game launched as a complete experience and has no outstanding content commitments.
