Orgynizer launched on October 12, 2022 and has been continuously updated ever since. The developer, LizardFactory (credited as solo dev "Gecko"), has shipped at least five major content updates post-launch: a Version 2.0 overhaul in June 2024, the Bare Essentials DLC in April 2024, mod support in May 2025, a competitive scoreboards and new characters update in June 2025, and most recently Patch 2.28.6 on May 19, 2026 — which added new rooms, characters, Patreon-integrated unlockables, and Twitch integration improvements. In between these milestones, the developer has maintained a consistent stream of feature patches and bug fixes. The May 19, 2026 post explicitly states "lots of lovely stuff coming during the summer," signaling ongoing development intent. The developer also encountered and resolved a notable engine crisis in late 2023, when Unity announced controversial per-install fees; after initial concerns about switching to Godot, a follow-up post in April 2024 confirmed they were able to continue with Unity. All DLC currently listed on the store has been released. The game is in a healthy, active state with no signs of development winding down.
