Overpass

Overpass launched on August 15, 2019 as a complete rhythm game with 8 regions and over 30 tracks. Post-launch, Studio Bean shipped a series of updates: a performance overhaul on February 27, 2020, an addition to the soundtrack DLC on February 25, 2020, and a quality-of-life/features update on June 16, 2020. These represent the full arc of post-launch support the developer communicated and delivered. Both DLC items are fully released — the Sites & Sounds Collection (August 15, 2019) and the standalone Soundtrack (March 6, 2020). No unreleased DLC exists on the store, and no roadmap, future content announcement, or additional DLC has been teased or promised by the developer. The most recent developer communication was a security hotfix on October 27, 2025, addressing a Unity engine vulnerability. This was explicitly framed as maintenance ("please ignore"), not a signal of new content development. The last substantive content update was June 16, 2020, and no major content has shipped since. The developer has never announced future expansions, additional tracks, or further DLC. Given that all announced content has shipped, the post-launch update cadence concluded in mid-2020, and the developer has made no statements suggesting further content, Overpass is best understood as a finished game. The 2025 hotfix confirms the developer still monitors the game for technical issues but is not developing new content.
