Dance Dash entered Steam Early Access on September 14, 2023 and remains in Early Access as of today, October 1, 2026. No 1.0 release date has been announced, and the developer has not indicated the game is nearing a full launch. Rebuff Reality has maintained a consistent stream of updates since launch. Three major content drops are on record: a BodyLink full-body tracking system in May 2024, a complete UI overhaul with tutorial levels and community content improvements in December 2024, and ongoing feature patches extending into early 2026. The most recent developer communication was a feature patch on March 30, 2026 — approximately six months before today's date. Prior to that, a patch shipped on February 27, 2026, and the UI overhaul shipped in December 2024. The gap between the last two major content releases (May 2024 and December 2024) was roughly seven months, and the pattern of feature patches has continued at roughly monthly-to-quarterly intervals.
