Audio Trip launched out of Early Access on December 19, 2022 with a substantial content update. Since then, Kinemotik Studios has maintained a steady cadence of paid song pack DLC releases: the Swanky Song Pack on November 21, 2023, the Above & Beyond Expansion on October 24, 2024, and the Neon Disco Song Pack on May 30, 2025. This gives three major content drops spaced roughly 11–12 months apart. Between these releases, the studio has also shipped multiple feature patches. A June 13, 2024 developer post explicitly mentioned the team was "working on some more (really cool) DLCs," confirming active content development at that time. All currently listed DLC has shipped, and no specific future content has been formally announced. As of today (October 8, 2026), approximately 16 months have passed since the last major content release on May 30, 2025. This is modestly beyond the established 11–12 month cadence window and approaching the outer boundary of three times that cadence. However, the developer has not communicated any conclusion to content development, and the last developer communication of any kind was the May 29, 2025 feature patch post — now over 16 months ago. The silence is notable but not yet at the point where it definitively breaks the pattern, given no studio distress signals and a history of consistent releases. The game continues to receive new music and features on a regular basis, and the developer has given no indication that this will stop.
